preenTec uses a variety of the most sophisticated particle synthesis techniques, developed in house or by partnering institutions, to satisfy all manner of customer needs. Depending on the customers specifications e.g. material, particles size, size distribution, space time yield, cost etc., preenTec develops unique protocols for the synthesis of micro- and nanoparticles from a broad variety of polymeric materials.

Particle synthesis techniques currently used by preenTec:


Production of microparticles in the size range of 0.5 to 4 mm with very narrow size distribution at low to medium volumetric flow


Production of microparticles in the size range of 0.2 to 2 mm with narrow size distribution at medium to high volumetric flow


Production of microparticles in the size range of 10 to 200 micrometers with relatively narrow size distribution at low volumetric flow


Production of nano- to microparticles in the size range of 200 nm to 1 mm. Size distribution depends on case to case situation. Process is freely scalable.


Production of nanoparticles in the size range of 10 to 500 nm. Size distribution is in many cases narrow. Process is freely scalable.
